At Suntrac, we understand that balancing daily responsibilities and stressors while staying connected to personal supports is essential for recovery. That’s why we provide guidance and support to help individuals continue working, living in their community, and achieving their personal recovery goals.

Short Wait Times: Intake appointments are usually available within two weeks.
Free Programs: All Suntrac programs are completely free, funded by the Local Health Integration Network and generous community donors.
Responsive Support: We aim to respond to all calls within two business days.
Confidentiality: Your privacy is respected throughout your recovery journey. Information collected is used only for statistical purposes.
Flexible Options: Programs are offered in-person and virtually. Please contact staff for details.
About Us
The Suntrac Wellness & Addiction Treatment Program incorporates best practices in substance use treatment. We serve individuals 19 and older in Hamilton and the surrounding area. Previously focused on serving men, we now proudly serve people of all genders.

Our program provides personalized support to individuals seeking to change their substance use. You may be interested in stopping all substance use, cutting out a particular substance, or learning to use substances in a way that is less harmful to you. Whatever your goal, our program is designed to provide you with the individual support you need to navigate your path to wellness.
The Suntrac program consists of two phases – CORE and Aftercare. Each phase supports your journey by working with you to clarify your goals, develop the skills and resources you need to meet them, and support your growth and progress toward improved health.
We also recognize that your journey touches other people in your life. So, we offer a program called Partners in Recovery that is designed to support your family and friends.

Suntrac offers accessible drop-in programs that provide immediate support, guidance, and connection for individuals navigating their recovery journey.

Our evidence-based treatment programs are designed to meet people where they are, providing flexible options to address substance use while supporting overall well-being and life goals.
3. Aftercare
Aftercare programs help individuals maintain recovery, focus on relapse prevention, and continue developing personal growth and life skills.

Using a trauma-informed approach, we seek to understand the whole person who accesses our services. We help individuals meet their goals, build skills, and strengthen capacity, applying a strengths-based, holistic, and person-centred approach.
We deliver our services with compassion, empathy, and dignity, believing that all people are capable of making positive changes in their lives.
