Emma’s Place
Working in partnership with Willow’s Place, Emma’s Place provides 30 low-barrier shelter beds for women, trans, and non-binary people (18 years and older).
Shelter beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis through either community or self-referral.
At Emma’s Place, guests have access to:
Supplies to meet basic needs (food, clothing, hygiene, etc.)
Emotional support and a compassionate ear
Referrals to community services and supports
Assistance with (re)connecting to housing resources
Funding Commitment
The City of Hamilton has committed to funding Emma’s Place for two years.
